Where to use it — and where not
The specifics: A combined cleaner and conditioner. We ran the cleaning side on a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter — the two spots that soak up the most body oil and hand grime — and they came up clean. The conditioner leaves moisture in the leather to keep it supple, without a greasy, sticky film.
This is purpose-built chemistry — that's the point. On the surfaces it's made for, it cuts grime gentler products can't touch. On the wrong ones it can do harm, so we're specific instead of vague. Work a manageable area, don't let it dry, then rinse or wipe thoroughly.
